Welcome back beer fans. I know it’s been while, but I’m officially back at work and it's hard finding time to juggling work, a newborn baby and writing some beer reviews for you good people.

This week I have our first saison review and it’s Provision 6.8% from Burning Sky Brewery: a nice brewery local to us, in Firle, Sussex.
This saison was the last beer from my burning sky delivery, which I couldn’t give higher praise. Burning Sky’s quality across their whole selection of beers is very good, so make sure to check them out.
Once I had bought provision I was really looking forward to it, as I haven’t had a saison before and couldn’t wait to see what it was all about.
Once poured, it had a cloudy yellow colour and the smell was very similar to a cider, it is beautifully crisp with a tart/sour taste to it.
This was a bit different to what I’m used to and I’m not a big cider fan but provision is a really nice drink, would I recommend it to a friend? yes, but I would advise to have a few bottles as it doesn’t go very well with a few IPAs as I found out.
This is definitely a beer that’s a bit different from your usual and it comes in a 750ml champagne bottle and could easily get mistaken for a wine, as the yeast used gives it a brut dryness, but looks good when it’s on the side, so make sure to check out Burning Sky for this and for their whole selection: you won’t be disappointed.

I’ll give it 8/10.
It’s really good, a bit different and I would recommend you check it out.
Cheers,
-Dave
